href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/prince-charles\/\">King Charles<\/a> braved the rain in east London today visiting the city’s first ever <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/06\/02\/sxsw-london-will-a-love-letter-city-here-23288133\/\">SXSW festival.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Kingdom Choir, who performed at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding in 2018, sang to Charles while he toured the event in Shoreditch.<\/p>\n<p>Charles kept himself dry holding an umbrella while meeting key figures in the creative arts and technology industries.<\/p>\n<p>This week, <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/06\/02\/sxsw-the-creative-eyes-world-will-london-23309135\/\">London has been filled with thousands people <\/a>attending SXSW London, a conference that began in Texas but has evolved into a broader cultural festival.<\/p>\n<p>The focal point of Charles’s was the immersive art installation, centred around <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/sustainability\/\">sustainability<\/a>, a subject which the King is passionate about.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibit, made by London artist Damien Roach, is called Grounding.
