href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/dorset\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">Dorset<\/a> after suffering a ‘medical episode’.<\/p>\n<p>The Coastguard, lifeboat crews, police and an air ambulance raced to the scene after the woman fell ill and needed urgent medical attention.<\/p>\n<p>The woman, in her 30s, fell ill on Durdle Door, a popular tourist attraction on the Dorset coast.<\/p>\n<p>She was pronounced dead at the scene despite emergency workers carrying out CPR.<\/p>\n<p>It’s not yet known whether the woman had been in the sea prior to her death, or had suffered a Her next of kin has been informed.<\/p>\n<p>‘Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this very difficult time. The death is not being treated as suspicious.’<\/p>\n<p>It comes as the Met Office declared Thursday is officially <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/06\/19\/teenagers-warned-not-cool-off-rivers-lakes-ahead-33c-temperatures-23452916\/\">the hottest day of 2025<\/a>, with a temperature of 32.2\u00b0C recorded in Kew, London.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Got a story?
